*The
purpose of this entry is to be a guide for those who will aspire to become a
GSA.
The
link for application was posted in our department official Facebook group: NDMU
CSD. The original deadline for the application is April 7 but then it was moved
to April 24. It was an alumni friend who encourage me to apply, upon seeing the
application form, it’s not easy. It took
weeks for me to finish my application because it has a lot of requirements that
needs to be comply first like certificate of enrollment, recommendation
letter/s and a YouTube video.
Here is
the summary of my application form:
My YouTube
video.
I am
really sorry for the low quality. I just used a cellphone for the video clips
and I am also the one who edited it, I admit I don’t have enough skills but at
least I know the basics. hehe

May 2, 2014 I visit the Google Student Ambassador
Philippines Facebook page and I saw a new post that the result of the GSA
Application is out. I don’t have an internet connection at that time and so I
cannot check my Gmail. I was really nervous I was like “I don’t like to open my
Gmail ‘cause I’m afraid I didn’t receive an email”.
The next day I opened my Gmail and I was amazed.
Woahh I received emails.
Along with the confirmation email.
My
certificates for the required online exam.
I am so grateful for those persons who greeted me and show
how proud they are to me.
A post by an alumni “PHILNITS passer” in our facebook page.
He was the one who encourage me to apply.

Masha’Allah above all I am really grateful to Allah for the
wonderful opportunity He showered upon me. Without He’s guidance and mercy I
can’t achieve this.
All praise to Allah! <3
